circa 1860, with slightly shortened 29 3/4in. damascus triple-staged barrel signed on the top-flat 'PARKHOUSE, TAUNTON', Birmingham proofs, scroll engraved breech-block with platinum line and plug, borderline and scroll engraving featuring a seated dog and signed 'PARKHOUSE', walnut half-stock, iron furniture and wood ramrod, complete with a period walnut case relined and compartmented in blue baize for this shotgun and together with two flasks and a cleaning rod set
